Fund Raising Manager

ROLES
- Developing Fundraising Strategies: Create comprehensive fundraising strategies that align with the mission and vision of Objective Earth. Identify potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, government grants, and individual donors, and design targeted approaches to engage them effectively.
- Grant Proposal Writing: Prepare compelling grant proposals, funding applications, and project budgets to secure financial support. Collaborate with the program team to gather relevant data, metrics, and impact stories to strengthen grant applications and showcase the value of Objective Earth’s work.
- Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors. Develop personalized donor cultivation plans, engage in regular communication, and organize meetings or events to enhance donor engagement and support.
- Fundraising Campaigns and Events: Coordinate and execute fundraising campaigns and events to generate funds for Objective Earth. Plan and implement campaigns across various channels, including online platforms, social media, direct mail, and events, while ensuring effective donor outreach and engagement.
- Partnership Development: Identify potential partnership opportunities with organizations, businesses, and community groups that align with Objective Earth’s mission. Collaborate with the partnership team to secure corporate sponsorships, cause-related marketing collaborations, and in-kind support to enhance fundraising efforts.
- Donor Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records and information in a donor database system. Track and analyze donor data to identify giving patterns, preferences, and potential funding opportunities.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, financial progress, and outcomes for internal stakeholders and external funders. Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the program team, marketing team, and other relevant stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with Objective Earth’s overall strategy. Provide input and support in developing program budgets, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as nonprofit management, fundraising, business, or communications).
- Practice: Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
. - OS choice: Strong understanding of sustainable development, environmental conservation, and social impact initiatives.
- Habits: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling grant proposals and engage donors effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple fundraising campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
- Attitude: Experience in building and maintaining relationships with donors, sponsors, or stakeholders.

- Salary: Join our team as the Fundraising Manager for Objective Earth and contribute to the promotion of sustainable development and positive community impact. Together, we can make a difference for a more sustainable and resilient future.
- Salary: Somewhere between ₹8,00,000 to ₹18,00,000 per annum (dependent on your work experience). Often paid through weekly payments
- Stock options: You may receive stock options in one of our startups as bonus (we are aiming for atleast half of the team at Smarter.Codes to have stock options). This can even be double digit equity in a “wannabe unicorn startup”!
- People: A mix of geeky, frugal, and seasoned professionals to work with. See who you would be working with on a daily basis. This could be a lot of learning!
- Paid leaves: 15 days in a year. Pick the dates for yourselves when you wish to stay unavailable. Cater to your social/personal engagements with ease, or make your own holiday calendar
- Flexibility: To work from anywhere and anytime during the week. With minimum of 40 working hours a week
